It isn't some technological marvel for intense game play, and it doesn't have a whole bunch of doohickeys; Indeed, it doesn't even turn itself off when you leave it alone for log periods or on when you return (but it does have an on/off switch, if you can work up the energy)But if you want a mouse that will work on almost any surface; works quickly, and accurately, and does so at a very nice price you "basically" want this
The color is cool (not boring black!), the tracking is great, the scroll wheel is wonderful

This is a compact full-sized and reasonably-priced wireless mouse
Nice basic full-size mouse with good action and smooth scrolling, equal in quality to the VicTsing wireless mouse

The AmazonBasics Compact Ergonomic Wireless Mouse with Fast Scrolling is a ergonomically well designed mouse that offers very good performance to price.
The only thing I don't like is that the mouse is bigger than I had hoped -- I like a more compact design.
The scoll wheel and buttons are comfortable and responsive, the tracking is excellent, and the rapid scroll function is a nice, although not really essential, feature.

However, if you are currently using a full featured model, the Basics may lack a few features you like
