You just add a battery and plug in the usb port and the mouse worked and synchronized with my PC just fine

The quality doesn't appear any worse (or better) than my more expensive Microsoft mouse, so I'd not pay big bucks for one of those again.

This is a right handed mouse, and there are forward/back buttons near the thumb as an aid for navigating the web
