My complaint has been the length of these cords from day one

This is the perfect length to lay in bed and and stay charging

I also appreciate the 10-foot length

I like the length of ten feet and it is perfect for when I need a longer cable to connect my charger and still be able to talk or use the phone while it is charging.

And, I like the extra length which allows me to move around the sofa or chair without tugging the charger out of the outlet

And it coils nicely into a small package that fits in my charging kit, despite its monstrous ten foot length.

So far, I am enjoying the extra length, which provides flexibility for those who have few accessible outlets.
