The cable itself is thicker and stiffer that what you get in most cables, but you'd be hard pressed, I think, to tear these up by yanking them around as most people do with their cables

I also have similar but longer cables of the same braiding and Amazon Basics branding, and they work extremely well in my car where there is a bit more opportunity for flexing, but not much.

This is a good cable for my use case: I use it to charge my cell phone with at my desk, either from an Anker branded 120v outlet-based charger or from an Anker branded "PowerCore" charger which is a battery capable of charging a USB device.

As expected, reinforced on both ends and with a braided sleeve, this is a good quality cable that worked instantly and seems as though it will last longer than the typical cables.
