I know enough about video cameras to say when I can see the infrared lights are lit, and the picture is completely dark - it's broken.
Without zooming it has a nice clear picture but if you try to zoom in at a longer distance you lose video quality which is probably how digit zoom works.
Although this camera had a great picture and support was very good, I returned it
The night vision definitely does not provide as good of a quality image compared to other cameras I had - the IR beam is to focused for the wide angle the lens can see and the picture looks just to grainy (it was recommended to change form VBR to CBR, to resolve that - I'll have to test this in the next few days).
At knight time the picture is not good- to dark and I do have many lights around my hose.

Arthur did a great job from Customer support helping me set it up
This camera does a good job overlooking our front door area, the wide angle lens is great for that - but as others wrote; zooming into the picture, trying to read e.g. a license plate is getting grainy.
Alyssa at Amcrest did a great job in helping me with a problem.
AND MY CHEAP-O ROUTER ACTUALLY HAS THE BEST SIGNAL TO EACH CAMERA

Based on my experience of having all those bad cameras that either didn't work or with limited working features, coupled with enough emails back and forth to bog down my inbox, tech support and false promises made by this company.
Difficult to set up, then they stop working and have to set them up again
My cloud wasnt working and Arthur technical support was very helpful in getting it to work again
The camera is working good and having great clarity .will recommend this camera .Luke from tech

This is a good camera easy setup and it is visible on my iPhone when not on my local network as well
The setup is awfully confusing and lacks many essential control funtions.
Setup is a pain and the motion sensor doesn't even work half the time
Picture and video are so clear and setup was pretty easy
product is very good, product support is ok, setup is hard to understand, and how record and playback work is not easy to understand on both the pc and the phone app.

Connectivity was easy physically as well as with the amcrest app
The connector is understandable delicate, but it is far too easy to knock & damage the antenna which will degrade or kill the Wifi connection to your network
so now I can view from my android as well as on my computer,,,,thanks,,,,,,,,,,,awesome camera very clear with great picture!!!
Sure you can twist the antenna
In other words, a bad person could damage the antenna easily & potentially disable the camera

My alarm went off the other night and of course the app didnt work for me to see what was going on in my shop
The last two pics are in a location where it really shines as it makes full use of the extra vertical resolution
Would be much better sent as a text or mms especially with multiple false alarms due to sensitivity
If I get a call from my security company that the motion sensor was triggered, instead of having them immediately dispatch the police, I can double check on the camera first, so I am not charged for a false alarm
I had no luck with IP2M-842, decided to give this a shot.

Impossible for me to get them set-up, had to have them set up over the phone, had to get static IP address and continually had connection issues

I changed wifi password and am having to do hard reset on each of my cameras.
I upgraded my camera to the latest firmware did hard reset per instructions reconfigured
and they tell me to contact directly to amcrest, amcrest support only tell me to make a hard reset but did not work, now amcrest support don't answer my emails
I can't even remember how many times I've hard reset this thing
I did unplug the camera and reinstall with the use of the hard reset button on the base which seemed to help
