Amazing performance and value for the money

If you're in need of a CPU with great multi-threading performance, then go no further than a Ryzen 7.

My build originally ran with a Ryzen 3 1200, and I was left wanting better performance

This CPU should last me a good 5+ years, assuming AMD doesn't come out with something that's a lot better that will go into my motherboard with Zen2 or Zen2+.My recommendation is that if you're looking to overclock, and don't already have a CPU cooler capable of doing this, then I would save another $30 and get a 2700X instead.

Great value

I'm running it at 3.8 GHz with a liquid cooled system, a nice compromise of speed and heat

Decided to upgrade from my still-capable i7 3770 system.

Installed it on the MSI X470GPlus motherboard with Crucial ram, and it's been a rock solid VR gaming system

It is one of the best priced product in the market

Cheaper price, nice

Very fast and able to handle any task no problem, if you're an average computer user like me however, with not many intensive programs, you'd be better off saving your money, however this is still a solid choice nonetheless.

For those who love quiet computers, I find the Wraith CPU fan to be relatively noisy and I am going to replace

Awesome upgrade (from FX 8320) using the stock cooler since I dont going to do oc and its quiet and looks good with the RGB

This processor is a HUGE upgrade over that, and doesn't even break a sweat

Speed wise, I have a compile job that take about 5.5 minutes on an Intel Core i7 quad core and that same job runs in about 30 seconds on this Ryzen

Pros-Price to performance ratio is great-my old 4670 was bottlenecking multiple games but now my GTX 1070 can stretch its legs-the stock cooler keeps temps under 75C when gaming for hours with a 4.00Ghz OC at 1.29V-install and mounting hardware was straightforward and painless-very stable compared to 1st Gen Ryzen-Successful overclock to 4.2Ghz but with the stock cooler, it just isn't viable temp wise-The mounting process for the cooler was super simple and easy-The RGB cooler is really nice, love that I can tweak it to match the orange throughout my case-GTA Online, AC

For a full price of $290, its a harder sell because the 2700X is only $30 more, includes a CPU cooler that can handle a good overclock, and does overclock a bit better than the 2700.
