These recorders are great fun and bring great memories from my school days

I'd think it's a perfectly good recorder for the regular age of use (3rd grade?) too.

However, this is a well made recorder that works great for my sons homeschooling music classes.

When it arrived I fell in love with this very inexpensive instrument

I now see the quality and effort made by these companies to provide a decent instrument that actually will sound good and is practical for recorder newbies

i rate it a five star more than i can imagine definently my favorite instrument to play

It has a bit more heft, looks more like a fancy adult instrument, and the finish on the finger holes (and every where else) are silky smooth to the touch

This is for my kid to use at school, it was cheaper than the one the school sells and has a great case, cleaning tool and lubricant for the different parts.

I came back to revise my review of my darling Angel to better reflect this

I chose the Angel 201 because I preferred the dark brown/ivory combo and it came with a brown zippered bag, joint cream, and cleaning rod

Despite my petty envies with the Yamaha recorder, I've been enjoying my practice times learning how to play a recorder on my lovely Angel

In less than 20 minutes, I got really smooth holes that my fingers were happy with

After touching the silky smooth polished finger holes on the Yamaha, I realized the Angel's finger holes were very angular making it feel sharper to the touch

It also came with a cleaning stick

Son needed it for school and it worked perfect, plus comes with the cleaning stick.

Great value, my son has enjoyed this instrument a lot.

I have played the titanic theme and this little instrument delievers a marvelous sound
