The flimsy plastic cover popped off and the internal electronics just hung

And it is not made with cheap plastic like other items I've bought from amazon.

There was something wrong with the USB plug and it broke the plastic and bent the prongs of all of the USB ports on the computer

Prefer metal but the plastic will help prevent heat build up

You can see in the picture that the USB hub has warped plastic from where it overheated.

The material is flimsy plastic and likely won't survive constant fiddling

Extended my monitor as well as could plug mouse receiver into it for use on my laptop

The USB hub worked as it should.

Works as it should and I like the added length of the cord.

Everything worked as it should, and gained me plenty more USB ports

Not really sure if I got the wrong one, but it is frustrating that it does not work as I expected it (dedicated to transmit data - and completely fails with audio).Not worth the purchase.
