The extra long cord is wonderful when you have a bed that is distant from a wall plug.

so they sent out a second cord for me with no questions asked and it works fine the customer service was great

The problem isn’t the cords or chargers, it is irresponsible parents letting a child be irresponsible with their gear and adults yanking the cords out of chargers, using the wire and bending the other end by misuse like I bent mine playing on my phone while charging and resting the bottom on my stomach

It looks just like one of the newer more sturdy Apple cords, just a different color (red) but it is a bit stiff

This is the best cord I've owned, and Anker has excellent customer service: I left a three-star review on a different Anker lightning cable that I bought in January 2015 which only lasted a year of use in my car before it stopped working reliably
