Some of the other ones listed on Amazon are not certified, and when using them, often got unsupported device on my phone or a constant connect/disconnect when plugging into my MacBook
Used it for the first time and failed after 30 seconds, my phone said it was an unsupported device and refused to charge
When plugged into my iPad, it doesn't always make a connection, then the iPad states it's a incompatible device
My iphone told me that "this device is no longer supported", therefore, they stopped charging my "s" model and "plus" model.
