A Qi charger will not do turbo charge as of yet - not strong enough -- maybe in the future.

This works well with a Samsung Note 8 in the Rugged Protective Case while the Note 8 in that case won't charge on the newer Samsung Fast Charging Wireless Convertible pad.
Anker gets +1 star for outstanding supportThis charger works well, when it works

Since getting my note 8 back in March, I've struggled to find a wireless charger that'll support fast charge and work with my otterbox defender case
Turns out it was defective and the second unit works just fine with case and all

The design is great, and charges in portrait or landscape modes
The design is conservative which I like with just a small blue led light to indicate it is charging.
The PowerWave Stand Combo has such a nice design and of course amazing Anker packaging

And the fan is not noisy like some other people were complaining
This doesn't charge my Galaxy s8+ any faster than my 4 year old wireless charger https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00DG8NXP2.And my old one doesn't need a loud annoying fan
There is a quiet internal fan in the charging stand, I had to put my ear almost touching the unit to hear it
The fan is very quiet (I never hear it) and I have had no issues with charging
I love it, however, the fan in it could be a little less loud, as it can be annoying while sleeping

Heat hurts batteries and during fast charging with the phone on, the temps approach 96 degrees Fahrenheit
Anker makes the best portable batteries and chargers.
