A cheaper 12-volt USB port adapter also wasn't as fast, and as it turned out, it broke and also shorted out my 12-volt in my new car (dealer had to replace a fuse).

This is kind of a bulky car charger, however it fits really well in the cigarette lighter and doesn't have a spring to it like other chargers do

I bought the Anker Ultra-Compact 24W 2-Port Car Charger to replace a different charger that gave out

In my experience cables fail near the connections, Anker has added reinforcements to the adapter side and the connector side
