Reviews around freesync (5.00 of 5)

  • It is the best price I've found so far and the Freesync
  • This is however a wonderful high refresh rate 1440p monitor w/ freesync for those of us who can't drop 800 on a monitor
  • At the same time, the wide range of 30-144Hz allows mid range cards like my RX 480 to run 1440p and enjoy freesync
  • And by the way this monitor is AMD Freesync compatible.
  • I run this off of a newer Radoen card so that it will support freesync.

Reviews around deal (5.00 of 5)

  • thats a good deal and for 2 k i cant complain a gsync wouldve been nice but
  • If you have the time to rma the monitor multiple times this is a great deal for the price, if you want a monitor that will just work out the box i'd suggest avoiding this brand
  • It does a good job displaying and is a great deal for the price point.
  • so I can wholeheartedly tell you: you WILL NOT find a better deal on a 1440P that ALSO offers 144HZ
  • It’s a solid deal if you can get it on sale, and then you can enjoy 144 hz gaming.

Reviews around stand (4.61 of 5)

  • the stand is sturdy and this allow for moving the screen around easily
  • Cons: less stable stand (needs a sturdy desk), annoying assembly process, advertised refresh rate is the max OC (pet peeve of mine) pros: 0 backlight bleed, smaller footprint stand.
  • it has a nice functioning stand that moves nicely in any way you
  • The display is great and the stand is sturdy and readily adjustable
  • The stand of the monitor is pretty good too; sturdy and flexible

Reviews around picture (4.56 of 5)

  • The picture is also sharper because faster refresh rates significantly reduce motion blur on this monitor
  • The viewing angles are equally amazing, the picture is bright and clear from pretty much any angle
  • it has an amazing picture, stand is awesome, customer support is responsive to any issue
  • Instruction book came with very vague pictures had to figure out what screw you had to use to mount to stand and it was the black ones not the silver ones
  • The picture doesn't look too amazing straight out of the box but some settings adjustments made it clearer

Reviews around gaming (4.33 of 5)

  • It's a good quality gaming monitor that doesn't look to gamer-y, and I recommend it!
  • It happens at least once a day and gets very aggravating when gaming
  • The monitor is hooked up to a GeForce 1070 in a MSI Vortex gaming desktop and I always take advantage of the higher frame-rates and g-sync on FPS games like Battlefield 1
  • no blurring while gaming.
  • this is an amazing gaming monitor especially for the price

Reviews around sync (4.32 of 5)

  • For no apparent reason, no where does it say that Adaptive sync is FreeSync, but it is.
  • Yes, it has freesync, it's just called adaptive sync by AOC for some reason
  • Other thoughts:Even though this monitor doesn't use the word "Freesync" anywhere and instead says it has adaptive sync, my Crimson settings sees this as a Freesync monitor, and it works as one
  • With the AOC you are getting a solid g-sync monitor with very few compromises.
  • The monitor is hooked up to a GeForce 1070 in a MSI Vortex gaming desktop and I always take advantage of the higher frame-rates and g-sync on FPS games like Battlefield 1

Reviews around display (4.10 of 5)

  • The display is great and the stand is sturdy and readily adjustable
  • But the display I received is perfect, almost no backlight bleed
  • Images on the AOC Agon AG271QG display look worse than they do on his 60hz 27in IPS monitor - which cost less than half as much as this thing.
  • The display settings adjustments are easy and work great.
  • But the display I received is perfect, almost no backlight bleed

Reviews around price (3.78 of 5)

  • It is the best price I've found so far and the Freesync
  • It fits the bill for what I wanted from a SHD monitor at a decent price
  • I am glad I did the 35 inch VA panel is great the contrast is great for games no ghosting and very responsive and for like 400$ less then the other Ultra wide IPS panels and guess what absolutely no backlight bleed at all and no glow just very happy with the monitor and for a good price you get 35inch ultra wide and GSYNC can't beat it
  • so really getting a 120hz monitor for a cheaper price at same resolution would be a better choice.
  • Definitely more than the 1-5 "normal allowance" (which I still think is absurd on a product you're paying premium price on, but I guess this is how the future is going to be - worst quality control, higher prices)

Reviews around quality (3.40 of 5)

  • The monitor and resolution are great over all, good quality, no noticeable tearing, the over 1080 resolution makes some games look a little blurry if they don't support the native extra large resolution, but most games are fine.
  • This is now my number one recommended monitor for any gamer that needs good screen quality, affordability, and responsiveness add to that Freesync and you have an unbeatable gaming monitor
  • Good picture quality (but note that I'm color blind), low latency and high refresh rate
  • Additional qualities of this monitor such as its AMD FreeSync and customizable LED lights are the frosting on top of the cake
  • It's a good quality gaming monitor that doesn't look to gamer-y, and I recommend it!

Reviews around input lag (1.58 of 5)

  • The monitor overclocks to 165Hz which is nice and can't notice any input lag
  • Man, I had no clue how much my old monitor was holding me back, input lag being a huge difference.
  • The monitor is hooked up to a GeForce 1070 in a MSI Vortex gaming desktop and I always take advantage of the higher frame-rates and g-sync on FPS games like Battlefield 1
  • If you value color quality over input lag, this monitor is not for you.
  • Butter smooth, no input lag.*USB Hub

Reviews around pixel (1.16 of 5)

  • But I think I'd almost rather have a few dead pixels than all this bleed
  • The monitor is responsive, bright, beautiful, no dead pixels, no screen light bleed, its amazing
  • It's a known issue about this monitor having dead pixels.
  • The monitor is responsive, bright, beautiful, no dead pixels, no screen light bleed, its amazing
  • I love it, the build quality is great, no dead pixels and just a teensy tiny bit of backlight bleed, but I can not really notice it, just ran tests for fun.

Reviews around issue (1.00 of 5)

  • My first G-Sync monitor was a Dell and it had terrible gamma issues.
  • * still 5 starsMy monitor developed some really bad image retention issues on the right side of the monitor
  • I worried very much about these bleeding and dead pixel issues
  • Monitor is great but my only issue is the lack of ports
