This is however a wonderful high refresh rate 1440p monitor w/ freesync for those of us who can't drop 800 on a monitor

At the same time, the wide range of 30-144Hz allows mid range cards like my RX 480 to run 1440p and enjoy freesync

And by the way this monitor is AMD Freesync compatible.

I run this off of a newer Radoen card so that it will support freesync.

If you have the time to rma the monitor multiple times this is a great deal for the price, if you want a monitor that will just work out the box i'd suggest avoiding this brand

The picture is also sharper because faster refresh rates significantly reduce motion blur on this monitor

The viewing angles are equally amazing, the picture is bright and clear from pretty much any angle

Instruction book came with very vague pictures had to figure out what screw you had to use to mount to stand and it was the black ones not the silver ones

The picture doesn't look too amazing straight out of the box but some settings adjustments made it clearer

For no apparent reason, no where does it say that Adaptive sync is FreeSync, but it is.

Yes, it has freesync, it's just called adaptive sync by AOC for some reason

Other thoughts:Even though this monitor doesn't use the word "Freesync" anywhere and instead says it has adaptive sync, my Crimson settings sees this as a Freesync monitor, and it works as one

Images on the AOC Agon AG271QG display look worse than they do on his 60hz 27in IPS monitor - which cost less than half as much as this thing.

It fits the bill for what I wanted from a SHD monitor at a decent price

I am glad I did the 35 inch VA panel is great the contrast is great for games no ghosting and very responsive and for like 400$ less then the other Ultra wide IPS panels and guess what absolutely no backlight bleed at all and no glow just very happy with the monitor and for a good price you get 35inch ultra wide and GSYNC can't beat it

so really getting a 120hz monitor for a cheaper price at same resolution would be a better choice.

Definitely more than the 1-5 "normal allowance" (which I still think is absurd on a product you're paying premium price on, but I guess this is how the future is going to be - worst quality control, higher prices)

The monitor and resolution are great over all, good quality, no noticeable tearing, the over 1080 resolution makes some games look a little blurry if they don't support the native extra large resolution, but most games are fine.

This is now my number one recommended monitor for any gamer that needs good screen quality, affordability, and responsiveness add to that Freesync and you have an unbeatable gaming monitor

I love it, the build quality is great, no dead pixels and just a teensy tiny bit of backlight bleed, but I can not really notice it, just ran tests for fun.

My first G-Sync monitor was a Dell and it had terrible gamma issues.
