So I ordered USB-C to USB-A adapter, and the display still didn't work.

I've bought 3 of these & they all work fine, have to be set up with the CD that comes with each, also each comes with a nice padded case, how ever the only hookup wire (usb) could have been longer at least for my set up, and you have to be right in front of the screen to get the best picture 25/30 degrees off center & the picture blurs.

So it is not good for doing things with graphics on them as the picture is not great to look at

The plastic casing on that one has started to scratch up a bit as it didn't come with a case, but it works like a charm

AOC could solve this problem by replacing the stupid soft case with a hard plastic front cover like TI calculators use.

Regardless, I liked this monitor enough to buy a replacement (though because I had customers question the image quality - I went with the IPS version), though I also picked up a hard case to better protect the screen.

The monitor comes with a nice, protective carry case which does a good job protecting the device, until it doesn't - something broke internally (not sure how that's my fault) and the company refuses to honor its warranty - I wouldn't purchase another AOC product
