Apera Instruments AI209-T Value Series PH20 pH Tester Combo Kit, including the Maintenance Set, and a CalPod Solution Holder for Easy Calibration

    • I use it on fish tanks and a hot tub and it seems accurate
    • When I tested the water in my fish tank it said it was 8.4, which is way high
    • That defeats the murkier for using this with fish tank.
    • We bought this to measure pH in our freshwater fish tank
    • I use the Apera PH tester for testing my fish tanks
    • I bought the meter in the past tired of replacing cheap $15 Chinese meters and at the beginning was really happy with, needed very little calibration and my plants and the fish tank were happy, 3 months later this expensive one also failed but even worse the cheap Chinese ones most of the time the probe was the issue as it easily breaks this one won't even turn back on after only 3 months of use, I expected a lot more by paying 4 times the price of a cheap one, guess I was wrong, stay away from this Chinese cheap crap even if it looks as expensive crap.
    • My problem is getting pH correct for a fish tank, and I have used distilled water to bring filtered tap water closer to 7.0.
    • Bought for fish tank pH. Normally check about 1-2x week
    • n’t believe how fast it lost sensitivity
    • Works as it should.
    • so I can do a 3 point calibration as well as it came with the container to store the calibration fluid in during testing.
    • I'm not sure what caused the glass to break as it did not make direct contact with any solid object which justifies my 2 star review.
