I have tried the lesser models of competitors and regret it after purchasing this Apera unit

I chose this meter over the cheaper models since it has easily replaceable AAA batteries and it just seemed a little better quality

I'd keep enough of it in the cap to submerge bulb and replace weekly with 4 ml of fresh 3M KCl.

This meter has a nice cap with an O-ring that does not leak, so I expected it to last a while
