This meter seemed to give accurate readings

Both were calibrated and Apera provided more accurate readings compare to the cheap one by ~0.3pH approximately.

Well I've been feeding my plants at 6.2 ph everytime but now realize the meter is broken and was giving false readings.

A bubble will throw your readings off and will mess up your calibrations.

Make sure to calibrate about once every month or so if you are to maintain accurate readings
