Yeah, my Air was light, but it was lagging at 6 years old and the 11" screen was neither vibrant or large enough for my needs

I would recommend buying a 21.5 inch 4k retina iMac though for a college/graduate student, the big screen is nice and gives you more space to work on things instead of a 13 inch display
