The current iPod is still a long way from ideal (I could easily list off a whole raft of improvements I'd like to see), but given the highly portable nature of the device, huge disk capacity and the not too unreasonable battery life its a very good effort at video, music and photos on the move

The only reason I gave this product a two star in stead of one is because I received it one day BEFORE they estimated; however the battery doesn't work

I have a 30GB model (free from my employer), and my only regret is not getting the 60GB model, which in addition to being twice as big packs better battery performance.

The glossy plastic and screen are easily scratched, and this, the screen is distorted and the iPod loses its nice lookIn all, the iPod is a decent MP3 player, but has many problems like the low-quality included accessories and terrible battery life.

The battery died after about a week, but that's not the seller's fault because the battery replacement would be Apple's job.

A few complaints include the battery life as well as the surface which does scratch pretty easily (this is why I gave it 4 stars)

Video playback is much beter than I expected, but it does drain the battery more than playing music files (naturally)One suggestion--get a carry case so you'll avoid any scratchs and dents for the iPod

The battery will crap out on you in about 2-3 hours at most

Either I got lucky with the battery in my iPod photo, or I have a bad battery in this iPod video.

They have added a lot of features in i-pod but did not Improve the battery.

(i have both an A/C and car adaptor) where I couldn't leave it plugged in, in fact I don't think I've ever killed the battery on my iPod.

Maybe I received an iPod with a faulty battery, i'm not sure, but I do NOT recommend going through the trouble of buying this product unless you are planning on using it to walk straight to the iPod repair store for a 100 dollar battery upgrade

Battery is great, but I have only had it 3 days.

The only downside is that watching the vidoes drains the battery quickly so i would suggest getting a battery adapter to give it extra power

I wouldn't recommend buying an iPod for watching videos all that often, as the battery life is quite limited when watching videos (2hrs at most), but short 5-10 minute clips won't kill the battery, and they're fun to watch.

Maybe if I were watching a movie on the bus home it might die as I've read that watching video is very hard on the battery, but who the heck wants to sit and stare at this screen for more than 20 mins?

However, the iPod video...well, it didn't sound nearly as good as the photo, even after jacking with the EQ's and upgrading my firmware to the latest version (the latest when I received it, anyway).
