If you plan to run this as a WINDOWS machine for running simulations as I do, I would definitely recommend getting a 15" version with 16GB on-board memory on this one so that you smooth performance and can future proof this machine for at least another 3yrs

Performance, battery life and software are really good as expected.

It runs quick and is as durable as the last one I purchased in 2010 and which I still have.
