It works half the time

Yet when activating HBO Max, using the same user name and password for DirecTv, it worked 1st time.

Despite these problems, it works fine as a home automation hub as long as you don't mind the slow response time when you combine devices.

Each feature on the remote should work the first time each time and currently this is not the case.

We previously had been using a Roku Premiere which we found very glitchy and it had slow response time.

I've owned this particular Apple TV for 3 months at this writing, time enough to give it a proper review.32GB vs 64GBAs content is almost uniformly streamed (although you can get limited DVR apps), any excess space would be for large asset games

This disruption occurs every time the Apple TV is woken up or if the user doesn’t interact with the device for a few seconds, like on the YouTube homescreen

Or if you travel for any other reason for a long enough time to want to watch anything, do not go with the Apple TV

Lots of apps to install, and games you can purchase if you need to kill some time

For 4k imaging the Apple just breakdown the image every single time

The screen freezes up all the time and it’s so complicated

Don't waste your time or money on Apple TV.

I actually have to start game from very beginning of ALL commercials and pre-game that I have already seen 10x now, and magically slide venus flytrap remote slider from 0:00:00 to the unknown starting time of top of first inning using tiny thumbnails as my guide that sometimes show up, sometimes do not.4

You want to be frustrated every time you sit down to watch TV

an ok streaming device..pretty much overpriced big time..comes nowhere close to nvidia shield..which is far the best streaming device out right now

The buffer time is incredible the interface is easy to use.

since that time it only give you the message "Fatal Error" every time you select to watch anything.

The Apple TV unit itself froze several times.

The design of the remote is especially frustrating, it’s so small and slippery that it gets lost, misplaced or camouflaged anywhere and the trackpad actually ends up being too sensitive at the wrong times so when you sit on it or brush against

Hard time getting it connected

With that being said I have a hard time with the Remote Control because every time I try to pick it

I find it very difficult to navigate with this remote and am constantly selecting options I don't want -- and having a hard time figuring out how to undo some of them

bluetooth sucks big time .. reconnect my sound bar every restart

Cons: sometimes the voice recognition has a hard time understanding but for the most part works well.

One comment, the remote is taking some time to get use to, wish it was similar to my Roku remote, I still like buttons, over the friction pad for, for the Apple

I love the airplay feature, we use it all the time.

I have a hard time consistently navigating menus and tv channels with it

Also, the Roku Ultra crashed all the time, and the AppleTV has been running for almost two months without any problem.
