They get great range; I’m not sure exactly how far the casita is, but it’s a separate structure on the property and a fairly good distance.

used them for a cross country move from truck to car with 4 dogs a guinea pig and 2 birds, they were great, we stayed within about 1/2 mile from each other and no issues, not sure what a longer distance apart how they would work, overall very happy with them.
