This would be an amazing idea if it worked.

I purchased these because they seemed like a good idea to keep me from having to go up a ladder to charge the batteries

Unsure as to some of the other reviews that indicate the mount (which is not the ball type with magnet) doesn't interfere with the other camera mounting bracket
