    • The solar panel gets about 5 hours of good sun per day
    • As long as it’s getting enough sun the battery charging lightning bolt thing shows up on the device display in the app
    • It is mounted where it receives full sun yet the cameras constantly drain and the panel doesn't charge the camera.
    • so it's too soon to say how well it collects sun and keeps the camera charged.
    • So far it has kept the battery charged to one hundred percent even though it sometimes does not get enough sun light to charge
    • Now the camera no longer charges from the solar panel, even in bright sun and with the outside temperature above 45f
    • Time will tell how they hold up to the intense summer sun
    • I've heard/read about some people having trouble getting enough sun to keep the battery charged, but I've got mine in a semi-shaded spot (it gets full sun about 4 hours/day, and off-and-on another couple hours)
    • the other one didn't last that long, even though it gets much better sun.
