It’s durable, great quality, good for small to medium sized dogs, & it actually smells wonderful

The one good quality I can say about this toy is that it will last forever.. because my dog won't go anywhere near it.

You must buy this product if your dog is an aggressive chewing dog

If your dog isn’t as good crazy they might not enjoy the treat aspect of it but still a nice chew toy!

I purchased the gorilla for my aggressive chewing Havanese puppies

This product has a funny smell to it and both my dogs hate it.

by that point the gorilla had no head left and half an arm was missing.

Basically, it’s a hard rubber gorilla with treats now molding in it because they can’t be retrieved

Our boys usually destroy everything immediately but not this Gorilla

My dog (Jack Russell/Chow)didn't like this item, too heavy, and strong baking soda smell

It has a little bit of a weird smell but my dog loves it.

She knows her treats are in there, but I think the strong rubber smell puts her off

It is durable but I believe the rubbery smell was too intense and my dog didn’t like it at all.

Sadly my golden is not interested in this toy at all, maybe because of the strong smell.

I can't imagine that thing would have been healthy for my dogs to chew on.

Two pit bulls have worked this thing over daily for over a month and it still exists

This thing is tough yet soft and resilient, so they love to chew it to death and it remains perfect

He literally had the head ripped off and small rubber pieces all over the carpet in less than five minutes

She is slowly getting pieces off of it, but I'm really impressed by how long it has lasted

The piece that came off could be dangerous if swallowed

The item is so durable its difficult for my lab to get the bone into small enough pieces to fall out the bottom.

My dog who is my best friend tore off a piece and swallowed it... he almost died and needed emergency surgery to remove it

Less than five minutes, my yellow lab chewed and shallowed the head of this toy

Our 8 month old Vizsla puppy chewed this for 20 min and already ripped the head off and a leg

He took the head of within an hour like other posters have experienced

Head ripped off after 10 minutes but the actual body of the gorilla toy has been holding out

Our dog is a power chewer and just goes through toys, the only reason for the 4 starts is it only took a few hours for our dog to rip the poor head off the toy, otherwise the rest has been able to hold together.

Beware, if you have a small dog, this toy could well be too large to be of any value.

Cons: I had to cut all but two of the little treat nubs off for her to get treats out, the "exit hole" is too small to drain well if you put frozen stuff in it and want to clean it later, and she gnawed off part of both feet and the pointy part of the head

Very difficult to get treats out of the opening they have to be very small as the flaps are hard for the dog to get the treats out

He hates the flaps that are in the hole of the toy where you can put treats

I think the hold flaps are a little too good.

The hole for treats has stiff rubber flaps holding the treat in and makes it impossible for not only my dog but even for me to get them out

She is a very aggressive chewer and toy destroyer, so it would be a good idea to be aware of the little pieces that get left on the floor during chewing.
