I followed the instructions to the letter, but after 10 minutes on high, the thing was still cold
-
Takes forever to cook simple things, like browning ground beef or sauteing vegetables.
-
Works fine to boil water the only thing I don't like is that because of the hot plate mass it takes a long time to cool off.
-
The entire thing became extremely hot to the touch after heating it up, not just the burner
-
Given the other reviews this thing is inconsistent at best
-
It works ok, but the entire thing gets really hot, not just the burner part, so be careful
-
This hot plate is the best thing
-
My issue is that I primarily use this thing to heat up soups and stews and even on the "Low" setting, this thing gets way hotter than what I anticipated
-
this thing works great. using it for candle making.
-
seems like there is always more things to keep warm than there is burners for them
-
Finally the wires just burned up until the thing became unusable.
-
It cooled down pretty quick and I thought that was a good thing
-
Again this thing is built well, very solid and here's hoping I get a half-decade of use from this one too!
-
This thing gets hot
-
This little thing works great
-
It will keep thing warm and cook to a rolling boil as well.
-
However, takes forever to warm up... then be careful touching it because the whole thing is hot!
-
However this thing would set off the smoke alarm if you just ran it unvented during the break in period
-
It is a very good thing, really.
-
This thing died after two months!
-
Pretty effective little thing
-
An unfounded fear, to be sure, but nonetheless, be forewarned that this thing does get super hot.
-
This thing heats up really good, it’s a good hit plate!
-
this little thing is pretty neat
-
This thing is terrible.
-
Sh*t broke in less than two months
-
Giving this thing 2 stars because I only hot two months worth of use out of it
-
All the warmer I looked at were for about 3 inch coffee cups.
-
Its good i like it
-
Biggest drawback is it takes a very l o n g time to cool down.
