As the cord moves at all the sound will come and go with horrible, horrible loud static noise

Tons of static and white noise.

In my Avalon it makes a very audible humming noise that's unacceptable, I returned it.

Like most cassette adapters after the first week it started making a loud cracking noise unless the cord is held to limit interference.

It sounded like the gear mechanism was defective which made a fairly loud noise which made it difficult to hear the intended output

There is a static noise accompanying every Sound, like when you blown out your speakers and then try to listen to something else

I didn’t even get to use it before discovering it was making a rattling noise from inside

You just get a faint static noise when you use it because well..it's a cassette tape, but you can't really hear it when the music is going.

Still does its job, but developed an annoying static noise that gets worse when you raise the volume.

I think the weirdest thing i notice was when I accelerated there was an odd noise that would happen

At higher volumes it gets a little crispy and also when you plug the aux into your phone it makes a real loud noise

I purchased a similar product that was bluetooth and the bluetooth had static background noise

There is some static/background noise that comes through when music isn’t playing, but it’s nothing you can’t get past

It worked well for a month until the cover for the audio jack fell off and it makes a horrendous noise every time I play music....

It worked for about 2 weeks and now there is a static noise at random intervals

The noise from the gears moving is only surpassed by the level of static.
