As long as you give it a good shake before use, it doesn't "skid" for lack of a better word and produces nice, smooth lines
If the ink starts to lose it's darkness, all it takes is a good shake to make the ink start flowing again (or you could be like me and play with that lack of ink for some lighter shading)
