I love the astro mod kit, the color was a little more toy-ish blue than I expected.
The speaker tags, top headpiece, mic, and ear cushions are more dark green than the photos show, but still a very nice color
The one downside I have to this is that I wish it came in a better variety of colors, maybe solid colors like purple instead of the gaming skins, but the Halo ones look absolutely stunning on my white a40s
The red color goes PERFECT with my setup and make them look excellent
If it wasn't for living with someone else in a shared room, I wouldn't have thought at all about purchasing these, as great as they are, it's difficult to justify the $60 price tag
You will not be dissapointed! and a easier way to take off the headstrap part is pulling it outwards opposed to up and down!

For a positive they look cool I guess, and pretty comfortable.
Like the green color obviously......totally changes the look of the headset!
The look of these are much better in my opinion than the standard white plates that I have

Comfort: the leather like ear pieces are a nice upgrade over the stock ear pieces
I love how well these new cups isolate sound around me, its a great upgrade, however, I still have problems with the mic.
Overall a very nice upgrade from the original pads that came with my a40 trs, but the mic piece is a little bulky and tends to move on it’s ownatter extended play

However the product was in great shape and seemed to be of great quality
While they are extremely comfortable mine was missing all the magnets from the one ear cup and a lot of the stitching is loose instead of tight, and I know this isn’t a one off situation as I know a lot of people that got these mod kits and had to return them because of terrible quality control
know how simply changing out padding can downgrade the quality of these headphones, but it certainly did

If you go by the pictures, the "leather" might seem uncomfortable, but that is certainly not the case

TR.I have said this before, but I feel that Astro should give gamers the choice before hand of purchasing these expensive headsets with open or closed back sets
The cups are smaller than I thought, after using them for long sessions my ears started hurting, never before happened with the regular ones, also the headband is very hard to take apart, so hard that I broke my headset in doing so
They help with much better noise cancellation and I ultimately feel more comfortable wearing them for longer periods of time.
I really can't say this enough, if you can enjoy your Astros in a quieter setting (your room) where outside noise doesn't become a problem while playing, don't buy these
The microphone really does cut back on unwanted background noise
After adding on the new sealed speaker tags, I can say they do help in overall passive noise isolation, but I wouldn't go as far as to say it completely blocks all outside sound

I live in NYC and in a loud environment where there’s a lot of cars and trains going by all
Not worth it unless you are in a VERY distracting, noisy environment.
