The brightness is great, the quality is amazing, and its just the right size
I am very happy with my decision as this monitor is great and the size is perfect, the 27" monitor was a bit too big where as this is just right
The quality is great and because of the more compact size
The base of the monitor, while sturdy, might be a inconvenience to some gamers, as the size of it seems to restrict where I would have otherwise placed my mouse pad and keyboard
Perfect size, the monitor itself can be moved horizontally and vertically
On my older monitor, when we're driving at top speed, my screen would flicker or lag and it makes it hard to see players
amazing quality, but i have also accidentally smacked the screen on this monitor with my VR controller full force at least 5 times and hasn't even cracked
Never have I ever had such a beautiful screen, great for gaming, movies, and so much more
This monitor is the greatest screen that I have ever used
The Screen is very beautiful and the colors are amazing for a great price
Here’s the bad: TFT display is lackluster at best compared to much newer display technology of today
] 1080p, 1ms Rapid Response Time, 75Hz, Dual HDMI, Low Blue Light, Flicker Free Display with Pivot, Tilt and Swivel, ASUS
: display buttons went out after a couple of weeks, doesn't turn on, display is distorted sometimes, I'm returning and getting new one because it's probably just the monitor I received.
And having a 144hz refresh rate on such a fantastic looking display is just awesome.
The price is great for a 144hz monitor and the display is stellar once it's set up to be
Each time the issue was the same, with the Display Port failing
A fantastic product for the price paid, I've personally seen some very dark/very bright color issues on Reddit before while I was doing my research, however, it seems that has been fixed since the small issue came
There aren't any dead pixels or issues with the monitor thus far
So far no issues it delivers the promised refresh and quality wise its good, the switch to 144hz from 60hz was an incredible experience though that I recommend everyone who could invest in it to do it
My other issue is that when you first get this monitor plugged in and ready to go and turn it on, your eyes will bleed
Why did the highly touted BenQ XL2430T not make the cut?
(I wish the BenQ didn't have so many issues, and didn't require the user to do the engineers job to make it work
I know BenQ and ASUS are both very good for competitive FPS monitors, and to be honest, I'm not an expert on
As you can see through the comments and other sites that pit these two versus each other, ASUS blows BenQ out of the park when it comes to picture QUALITY (color, vibrance, etc)
the only reason the Benq is better than the Asus VG248QE is if you're the kind of person that gets headaches from screen flicker
I know I probably just got unlucky with QA, but my monitor has a bright green stuck pixel in the center
The monitor basically deteriorated in the 2 days I used it for, and at the end it had a overly bright pixel
But the color issue I fixed within the first hour of owning it so no biggie! Some tips and tricks if you have issues with your monitor (Such as a flickering red pixel problem like me):I suggest that when you receive your monitor to go and check for dead pixels (just type in dead pixel test in Google)
It's a very nice monitor after some color correction, but unfortunately I noticed the next day that it has one bright pixel that is permanently stuck on and red
There aren't any dead pixels or issues with the monitor thus far
