That's a good value for the price.-Power: the 7th Gen i5 processor and 8gb of RAM will easily handle anything but the most demanding next-gen games-Keyboard: the keystrokes are crisp and the adjustable, red backlight looks fantastic-Case: The styling looks nice.
Overall this is a good value with solid technology that isn't underpowered or outdated.

At the time I purchased it was the best deal I could find for a 15" laptop with a decent dedicated graphics card, 8gb ram (and can add more), and i7 processor.

The seams where the bottom of the case meets the top of the case are not very clean, again giving an impression of poor build quality (I'll try to post pics).The speakers are pretty terrible, again compared to my ASUS ROG 17" and my Lenovo Y700 (both of those seem comparable to each other, with decent to good sound).The screen is pretty good

The keyboard sometimes just stops working by itself, its so frustrating
I haven't had any problems with the laptop overheating, the keyboard is always fine
The keyboard sometimes acts weird however, pressing a key over and over so I cannot type anything except that let until I close everything, sometimes even restarting the laptop
Sometimes, my keyboard just stops working when I'm playing games or when I'm browsing, 1 key will just repeat forever and I have to restart
But overall, I was impressed with speed of start up, backlit keyboard is perfect

The texture feels nice, the hard drive is easy to get to if/when I feel like upgrading
They did a good job with the access door to upgrade hard drives and memory, if you're looking to do upgrades, this laptop does make it much easier than ones I've owned in the past
