Doesn't overheat at which is good but some games are too laggy to be playable

I play games like Dead by daylight and it hasn't lagged or been low fps or anything

Despite being marketed as a gaming laptop, it could not even run simple games like Fortnite on medium settings without tearing and dropping frames left and right

I have no idea how to optimize the performance so I can play a game without plugging in the PC.That being said, every game I throw at it runs silky smooth at 1080p 60fps on high settings (not ultra)

and he has no issues playing games and doing school work on it

His last laptop was lagging on his favorite game

Most games will run superb on High/Ultra settings

never seen a Laptop pick up WiFi so strong before and still run as smooth and as strong as if you were on LAN.
