ASUS excellent quality, every new single game (doom, cod, forza H3, etc) runs @ 1080p Max Ultra, I don't own a 4k display so unable to test higher resolution
Excellent build quality and seems to weigh less than my MSI 980Ti's, which sag in the PCI-E slots.(-): Driver support is lacking, but almost expected
The overall build quality is note worthy, it's just such a solid quality build
You can change the colors and the build quality is great
We have a three monitor set-up and this GC supports all three in crystal clear HD quality
Amazing video card - with some fun bells & whistles around the LED color shifting
Don't bother trying to get SLI or Crossfire with two crappier video cards...just buy this and know that you have the best card on the market (well...short of the TI version
best video card i've ever owned. handles everything well, including the Oculus rift.
Bottom line, if your looking for a very solid video card and have the money then this is the card.
i`m crazy, this is the best video card in the world, that i use
I really wanted a 1080, and although this is bottom of the pile compared to a lot of others, it fits my needs perfectly, and I love the design.
Very cool design, bad ass looking.
Amazing design, the rgb lighting adds a lot to any build
I like the simple black design, customization with RGB lights and a cool lit-up ROG logo on the backplate.
Please please please remedy this issue, I absolutely love the design and its functionality... but this one issue prevents me from using SLI to play at 7860x1440p 165hz + Gsync resolution
If you have a fancy machine, with LED lighting, and an open side panel, this is the card for you.
When you apply power to the graphics card, there are two LED lights, one by each of the power plugs, that indicate if they are plugged accurately
Besides the size and the dim RGB lights, it performs amazing.
The card is powerful, stays cool with OC, and the lights are clean and bright
Received it yesterday, from a friend who lives in the states and bought it for me, and the item is dead on arrival.does not output video signal on any of the ports.the card lights up, and the fans spin and everything sounds as it should, but i get no POST image nor video from within windows
I really like the ASUS GPUTweak II software; it makes it really easy for me to set up custom fan curves and overclocking profiles for any temperature problems, make the video cards run differently for different games, or just quickly click to go from "Silent" to "Gaming".One card has proven to be pretty sturdy at handling any game I throw at it at full settings using 1080p--however, I'm running 2 in SLI,
Next, the software for the GPU does not like to cooperate
This card can handle any game at 4K or two 3D 4k video streams in Premier with no problem.-Overclocking software so easy a child could do it yet powerful enough not to blow the card up.-Light up "GeFORCE GTX" with custom lighting software to match your case lights-Single 8-pin connector with only 180 watts of power draw, yet more powerful than a Titan X-Way overkill for any first Gen Vive or Rift hardwareCons:-More expensive and harder to find than any board partner cards in the coming weeks-Single HDMI output
Install was easy and the software is not to bad
The software for both the motherboard and video card compliment each other
An Nvidia 1070 can handle most games at 1440p, but really struggles with 2160p
I have it clocked to 1950-2050 depending on the use case, and it utterly destroys games in 4k.- Battlefield 1 - rock-solid 60fps with everything max, actual 4k (no downsampling)- Titanfall 2 - an average of 70fps with everything on max, actual 4k (no downsampling)- Overwatch - near 100fps with everything on max, actual 4k (no downsampling)etc
You have to go to a competitor to get the free game through NVidia.
However, the same product sold in newegg comes with a free game (either For Honor or Ghost Recon)
I haven't had any problems with the hardware or software, and it has destroyed every game I've thrown at it so far (playing in 2k 1440p on a 144hz monitor).
Best thing is this card runs COOLER and QUIETER - several degrees cooler at 65C running Black Desert in 70' F room temperature, and at just 45% fan speed
I've heard so many good things about this card, but what a horrible experience this time around
It usually runs about 65C - 70C in most games on Ultra settings.- (Noise) Even with the amazing cooling, this thing runs very quiet compared to other cards I've used
Heard bad things about this card (like high temperatures and a loud blower fan), but honestly, I have experienced neither of these mentioned issues
This graphic card is one of the best things I've bought on Amazon or anywhere in general
Also there was no coil whine with mine, so thus far I have nothing to complain about.
The card runs quite cool—36 def C at last check
It hasn't reached over 68 C with just the fans so this runs cool when cranking with just the fans are engaged and no water cooler
My only complaint is the coil whine is annoying, though not as bad as the Radeon HD
has a very annoying coil whine, also the utilities from asus are not updated, but specialty the product that amazon send me was not new, yes believe it
The 0db fan setting is nice I suppose, but I have so many fans going in the case that I turn that feature off since the overall fan noise is so loud to begin with
Aalthough I personally prefer MSI Afterburner, this again is part of the advertised function, and it works as it should making setup faster and easier
I prefer a little fan noise and keeping my card nice and cool.
Fan noise is excellet as usually, ZERO noice to my ears even with the case
I prefer a little fan noise and keeping my card nice and cool.
I take my pc to a shop and the tech guy diagnosed my problem saying my card died on me after less than a week of use
I haven't had any problems with the hardware or software, and it has destroyed every game I've thrown at it so far (playing in 2k 1440p on a 144hz monitor).
While this is not a deal-breaker, it is an annoying problem.
Only problem is its big and sags a little would recommend propping it up a little with something.
