It's a good size, not to big, and the resolution is good
And neither does the HDMI input sync to arbitrary input resolutions (like i have seen in older monitors), but only to the few fixed resolutions documented - but even when the same resolutions are generated by most VGA->HDMI converters, it will not sync to it
The amazing resolution, the beautiful curved screen, the everything about this monitor is simply sexy as hell, but when you pay this much for a monitory, you should not be dealing with so many problems
27inch is too danged BIG for a close desktop monitor, you have to end up "Zooming" the screen, and using worse resolution in games to see things.
The monitor looks cool and it does have fairly decent resolution
The picture is great, the colors are great, and the refresh rate is more than enough.
Those are the best settings that I could find that gave the best picture and most accurate colors
No display lag, no backlight issues, the picture is fantastic, and the blue light filter that I initially wrote off ended up being one of my favorite features (and when it's really
This is a fantastic monitor, with great picture quality, color depth, and refresh rate
Ips colors are fantastic and I've never been blessed with such great picture quality
The stand is surprisingly easy to adjust yet feels quite solid
- it may be there, but it didn't work right out the box as I had to manually change the input when the monitor was off - but it doesn't really matter cuz the joystick I explained earlier is boss
maybe I'd be happy to lose a foot or more of my desktop space to the monstrous stand this thing sits
The monitor itself is excellent, but I also love the stand.
The materials used for this monitor are of high quality (the stand feels rock solid)
No display lag, no backlight issues, the picture is fantastic, and the blue light filter that I initially wrote off ended up being one of my favorite features (and when it's really
Other than that, a great monitor, really pretty display, great to play games off of.
The display wasn't broken, but something in the back was broken I'm assuming.
Display is smooth and crystal clear when it comes to my gaming needs
The monitor itself looks great, but the display is horrible
The g-sync and fast refresh paired beautifully with my GTX 1080 to make an amazing gaming experience
Don't get me wrong, the display itself is absolutely gorgeous; the colors are wonderful, the bezels are slim, the stand is clean and stylish, and the stated features (144hz, g-sync, etc) all work as intended.
The IPS glow on this monitor was horrible, no matter the viewing angle
I understand IPS panels have some blacklight bleed, but this orange glow is just ridiculous
I've tested a few games (Overwatch, DOOM, Civ VI, among others) with G-Sync, which works perfectly and adds a huge edge for competitive games
Yes I was like you extremely skeptical based on the negative reviews here on Amazon to buy this monitor.
The bad reviews about dead pixels had me so nervous about buying it
Great monitor no defects like dead pixels or bad back light bleed in the one I
No, I got it because I heard good reviews from streamers and other hardcore gamers on this Asus Republic of Gamers monitor
If something is worth a 5 star, I will go online and be the one person to tell you that it's a good product because I think on average, more people go online to write angry review than they do to go online and write good reviews
Great monitor no defects like dead pixels or bad back light bleed in the one I
Don't let the E-sports endorsements fool you, this is a poorly made product.
I still have to wait for this thing to warm up as I just got it about an hour ago, so we'll see if I have to update this review if my third unit starts bleeding.
These monitors panels are notorious for their QC issues
Assuming of course that ASUS can solve the QC issues that they seem to be having, this is the new flagship gaming monitor
One out of the 5 was good but is has bad BLB in the lower left corner that goes out several inches but is only noticeable on a black screen
Replacement has bad yellow BLB in 3 of the corners and another dead pixel near the center of the screen
Quality issues not corrected - still has horrible, horrible IPS Glow/BLB and is noticeable in use.
This one had a dead pixel just below the dead center of the screen and some nasty yellow BLB filling 3 of the corners to about 2.5 inches out
Great display, very simple controls, the built in speakers are nice since I currently don't have PC speakers and always use headphones for gaming, and the build quality (bar the BLB) is very solid and sturdy
Don't let the E-sports endorsements fool you, this is a poorly made product.
Great monitor no defects like dead pixels or bad back light bleed in the one I
After receiving this product I was worried about all the quality control issues.
I still have to wait for this thing to warm up as I just got it about an hour ago, so we'll see if I have to update this review if my third unit starts bleeding.
Quality control issues appear to no longer be a problem.
