The picture is great, the colors are great, and the refresh rate is more than enough.
, mine has a little of backlight bleeding, it's not as horrible as some pictures, and i can never notice it when im using the monitor, only when my PC is starting or im watching at a complete black picture in paint full screen, everything else is great
Not much bleeding, amazing picture with anything that can do 21:9
Ips colors are fantastic and I've never been blessed with such great picture quality
I am not sure but when the monitor is displaying black backgrounds you can see bad picture quality
I have never experienced 144hz before and it is such a great experience.
I never used G-SYNC until this monitor, but now I can see why they cost a bit more, the silk smooth gaming experience is to die for
processed my return to Newegg today, horrible experience to be honest with you, I really wanted to like this monitor
I've had many good experiences with ASUS, and surprisingly, this is the one and only/ worst experience I've had with there equipment
Although I've had a horrible experience with this monitor, I still think ASUS makes some of the highest quality items out there and it will not deter me from purchasing another monitor from them.
It had a beautiful display, but was a bit too big while gaming
I am glad I did because it is a gorgeous display and it is amazing for gaming
No display lag, no backlight issues, the picture is fantastic, and the blue light filter that I initially wrote off ended up being one of my favorite features (and when it's really
The monitor itself looks great, but the display is horrible
Other than that, a great monitor, really pretty display, great to play games off of.
Modified graphics settings on the computer instead of the monitor (most websites say to try disabling G-Sync and V-Sync, dropping it down to 60hz, adjusting gamma, and so much more.**Of
Cons: G-Sync Scan Lines impacting the right half of the screen, signifying a faulty G-Sync Module
If you don't have G-sync supporting GTX cards, DO NOT buy this model
I will just go for the cheapest G-sync next time around
If you don't have G-sync supporting GTX cards, DO NOT buy this model
All 4 units of the PG278QR that I have seen first hand, do NOT have any significant backlight bleed at all
While many owners have been reporting that they've been receiving panels with dead pixels, horrible backlight bleed and IPS glow, what's more disconcerting is that some many forum members are speculating that Asus has been taking many returned units, adding a "QC Passed" sticker and resealing it and shipping it as new.
About 80% of the monitors have dead pixels or terrible backlight bleed
Great monitor no defects like dead pixels or bad back light bleed in the one I
As a side note: I already had an IPS panel, and this was not at all IPS glow, it was over-the-top backlight bleed.
About 80% of the monitors have dead pixels or terrible backlight bleed
No dead pixels, no back light bleed worth crying about, no IPS glow that can really be seen when your shooting the crap out of things or watching a movie
Great monitor no defects like dead pixels or bad back light bleed in the one I
The monitor itself is good, no back bleed or dead pixels
There is slight ips glow (maybe backlight bleed) in the corners
Zero dead pixels very slight blb but nothing worth returning unit for
Quality issues not corrected - still has horrible, horrible IPS Glow/BLB and is noticeable in use.
This one had a dead pixel just below the dead center of the screen and some nasty yellow BLB filling 3 of the corners to about 2.5 inches out
Replacement has bad yellow BLB in 3 of the corners and another dead pixel near the center of the screen
Great display, very simple controls, the built in speakers are nice since I currently don't have PC speakers and always use headphones for gaming, and the build quality (bar the BLB) is very solid and sturdy
I still have to wait for this thing to warm up as I just got it about an hour ago, so we'll see if I have to update this review if my third unit starts bleeding.
Quality control issues appear to no longer be a problem.
Don't let the E-sports endorsements fool you, this is a poorly made product.
After receiving this product I was worried about all the quality control issues.
Great monitor no defects like dead pixels or bad back light bleed in the one I
