The only thing I will have to note here is that while it has FreeSync support, this monitor is not officially G-Sync compatible and it definitely shows

Free Sync now works with both AMD and NVIDIA cards and is a great feature for those games where framerates do drop below 144FPS

I've used it for gaming and the 144Hz is smooth and Adaptive Sync works seamlessly so

I also wanted something G Sync compatible which this one appears to be

It's not really fair for me to take off a whole lot of points for this since the monitor doesn't state it is officially G-Sync compatible, but it is something important to note

Beautiful ips picture, small panel boarder, 144Hz + freesync for only $170 total makes this a great deal!!!

Normally when a deal sounds too good to be true, it’s too good to be true

Its high refresh rate makes gaming a very smooth experience.

I am returning it for another one I will update the review if I have a better experience

and I can guarantee an amazing gaming experience

I'm just going to shell out the extra $20 and get the AOC 24g2 which has a better warranty and better overall experience

I was having a good experience with the monitor

I typically use a 27" monitor, but with limited desk space this 23" monitor delivers big results, great refresh rate 144 and good color rendering

It has an amazing refresh rate of 144Hz, is 1080p, has 1ms response time and is VESA compatible which was a must for me

The display itself is gorgeous and I have yet to notice flickering/stuttering related to Freesync (which runs perfectly on a GTX 1060)

The display is great but it is overlooked when you realize the stand is so bad

The price is very good for the features and picture it offers.

For me, the primary benefit is 144Hz at a really affordable price point

I especially love the frosted screen as my old glossy monitor used to have a fair amount of glare to due to light from a window in its reflection, but with this monitor I can read and see clearly text on screen at any time of day

Too bad black screens repeatedly is much worse than screen tearing.

The screen is incredibly clear, with bright, vibrant colors

The sound on the monitor cuts out randomly during gaming and the screen dims and brightens as well.

Awesome all around, with one exception, the sound quality is pretty gross

But I will say - compared to my 245h, the build quality is very poor.

Monitors are great quality, as you would expect from Asus

Overall good bang for your buck / sound quality from the speakers aren't great but just buy some speakers

The smaller ~24” size is refreshing and is saving a LOT more space, the image is way sharper, even though both displays were 1920x1080 (I know the PPI difference isn’t enormous between the two, but it is definitely perceivable), and the colors are so much more vibrant on this display than any other I’ve had

Now you can get a 144Hz monitor, right at the 1080 size sweet spot, with an IPS panel for $159.If you've been mulling over this monitor stop mulling and buy it

The colors are vibrant but not too over saturated, and this monitor also being able to do 144Hz is a godsend!

If you get this monitor, it’s be best if you attached it to a vesa arm or something, because the stand does tend to make the monitor wobble quite a bit
