This is probably the best price you can get and still get a good 4K monitor.
If your looking for a good 4K monitor for a good price, this is the way to go!
What I like about it that it is a gaming monitor with 60hz I would of love a 4k 144hz or 240hz but very scary prices for my wallet to handle other then that I stay with this price
I just got myself this monitor to use with an xbox one x , i only play PUBG on it and after using it for 2 days the screen started flickering sometimes , everything else looks great , and its also a good price for an 4k 1ms , i will contact them to see whats going on with the flickering , anyone else had this issue?
It’s a good price for a 4K monitor and great for console gaming.
n’t get the free sync to work on my Xbox one x for some reason but other than that great pic
1ms response time might not be completely accurate, but my experience with multiplayer games has been generally smooth
1ms response time is amazing.
The picture quality is VERY crisp, and the response time is fantastic, but for a $300 investment, I'd recommend buying a different monitor for console gaming considering this Asus flickers (which other reviewers have noted) and also lacks HDR
1ms response time on a 4K gaming monitor is pretty amazing too
You are reading snippets from reviews of ASUS VP28UQG 28" 4K/UHD 3840x2160 1ms DP HDMI Adaptive Sync/FreeSync Eye Care Monitor
While it has the clarity of a 2160p monitor, and the coloration is decent as it uses the same panel as their gaming monitors, the quality of the monitor itself is not so good
For me, the quality of the image and price outweigh these two tiny flaws
This one has wonderful picture quality, no HDR, but that is a small thing, wonderful value for such a nice monitor
Looks great and has an amazing quality, good 4k monitor for the money
if using on xbox one x and the quality of picture is not great
Really just depends how much I'm playing for that to occur, but indeed it does happen and its a distraction while gaming
This is definitely a great gaming monitor for consoles such as the PS4 Pro and
With that said, anyone with an XboxOne X trying to utilize FreeSync I highly recommend any monitor that has FreeSync 2 (only like 4 on the market as of October 2018) or waiting until they release more.
Nice!Unfortunately, there were still no intermediate resolutions available between 1080p and 4K.This product did also come with a DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable; I purchased a DisplayPort to USB-C cable after reading a forum thread suggesting that might help me obtain the intermediate resolutions that I was seeking.....and it worked
n’t get the free sync to work on my Xbox one x for some reason but other than that great pic
Resolution is extremely poor
For a product that boats about having the best resolution and picture quality for gaming it's also the one moniter I've been having the most problems just keeping a connection with
This monitor has good picture quality , but not as good as all of the specs has it listed
very disappointed in the monitor it felt like it needed a warm up time, every time i had a loading screen and it went dark the picture would be dark for about 20 seconds before it light up again, colors where not all that great tried fiddling with the settings for days trying to get something to look decent on games, but the dark was to dark and then anything light would show almost no detail
This one has wonderful picture quality, no HDR, but that is a small thing, wonderful value for such a nice monitor
I am by no means a monitor expert, but the picture on this is pretty good.
IMO.Next to a five year old 1080P Acer, the old monitor absolutely blew away the Asus 4K picture
The screen would randomly flicker or static and I tried both ports, different hdmi cords and different devices plugging into it
The only issue is I encounter random white static flickering towards the top of the screen, which is doable, but I am very concerned the monitor is already toward a bad spot in terms of life
Freesync on Xbox works most of the time but will occasionally cause an annoying screen flicker when playing some multiplayer games
I have replaced the HDMI 2.0 cable and power cord but the monitor continues to randomly flicker
I hate to leave a 1 Star review after only one night, especially as this monitor has met my requirements with an Xbox One X with allowing Variable Refresh (FreeSync) on 4k settings, but I am getting a random green static flicker every so often
Colors and quality were great, didnt support HDR 10 on xbox one x
The picture quality is VERY crisp, and the response time is fantastic, but for a $300 investment, I'd recommend buying a different monitor for console gaming considering this Asus flickers (which other reviewers have noted) and also lacks HDR
The trace free setting if used just creates a black after image if you turn quickly or a movie adjusts too fast, and it doesnt support HDR
This one has wonderful picture quality, no HDR, but that is a small thing, wonderful value for such a nice monitor
It does not support HDR but a little tweaking to the settings makes it seem it has HDR
