Great monitor at a fair price and of course, fast shipping from Amazon.
All ASUS Monitors come with a 3-Year warranty and ASUS Rapid Replacement service offering free 2-way cross-shipping that swaps any verified defective monitor with a replacement before you send it back
Emailed them about the "Rapid Replacement" as their website states: "Along with a 3 year warranty for the display panel and system, you get the complimentary ASUS Rapid Replacement service that covers free 2-way shipping and offers free cross-shipping that swaps any defective unit with a replacement."
(9 Days) was free shipping over $49.-Box arrived undamaged
Bought two of these and the shipping was pretty fast because of Prime
The short - great monitor, great price, sturdy, but hard to clean
Great monitor, pretty display, sturdy, dependable, great price too for what the product is.
Nice monitor at a good price, very sturdy and a great display
Excellent 1080p resolution, good color saturation, fast 2ms response time, easy to read matte screen, cheap price, nice looking and thin, VESA mount, lots of input optionsCons: cheap and flimsy stock stand
Great monitor at an affordable price for my home office setup.
I don't have the box any more to hunt for new labels, and I'm not sure the label I sent wasn't covering the one they want anyway, and they've refused the rebate, so I'm screwed
However, Asus has not refunded the rebate that came with the purchase even though Asus had sent me an email months ago that it had been approved.
I am disappointed as the price and rebate were awesome, a friend bought one several months
The rebate was denied due to: 'Required Documentation missing-Original UPC AND Serial Number Barcode Labels'.
They've refused the rebate because despite being a label from the original box and having a UPC, barcode, and serial number, it's not the right label from the original box having a UPC, bar code, and serial number
After purchasing and returning two other models I came across the ASUS VS247H-P. Long story short, this model is slightly larger than my other models; however, it's as close to perfect as I can get
This Asus monitor does not even work as it is supposed to and I feel cheated out of $160.
these are about as close to perfect as you can get at this price point.
Eventually, I decided to relocate the PS4 and use a shorter HDMI cable, and everything works as it should, including full RGB output and HDCP enabled.
I'm using HDMI out from my GTX1070 to the monitor and then connecting my external speakers to the back of the monitor and for some unknown reason, sound only comes out of the horrible built in speaker on the monitor
these are about as close to perfect as you can get at this price point.
I've had this monitor for almost a year and it still works as if I just bought it
I activated it per the instructions - but then when I took it to CVS, the card didn't work
The monitors look great - I am using a dual dvi nvidia 256 card and the video is crisp with excellent monitor response time
After purchasing and returning two other models I came across the ASUS VS247H-P. Long story short, this model is slightly larger than my other models; however, it's as close to perfect as I can get
I now think they are using cheaper parts and half A$$ processes
They immediately send you through the more tedious "repair" process, then tell you that if the monitor is deemed non-repairable, they'll then replace it with the current model or possibly a different model if they don't have the current model
The Asus VS239H-P worked out fine for me.
In the case of the ASUS 248H-P, the goods had a significant majority (the price played a part as well) so I decided to go for it
My gripe with it stems from the insanely slow processing times of the promised rebate
Very frustrated with this monitor a lot of bad pixels on the first one then one bad pixel on the second monitor and I can't stop looking at it
24-inch Full HD VGA Back-lit LED MonitorI Game a lot and watch a lot of movies on my computer and some times even work
Excellent 1080p resolution, good color saturation, fast 2ms response time, easy to read matte screen, cheap price, nice looking and thin, VESA mount, lots of input optionsCons: cheap and flimsy stock stand
n’t say how it would work for that,
The base isn't the greatest, if I bump my desk the screen moves quite a lot, but it doesn't move when I type so it doesn't bother me.
the larger one (the monitor this review is for) hurts my eyes.
I must have ended up with a slightly different monitor than the other satisfied people who have purchased this ASUS monitor, because the monitor I received is terrible and it hurts my eyes
This monitor strained my eyes, the edges of the text in windows and games looked fuzzy and made it hard for me to read
I also do some programming and even that on my bigger monitor hurts my eyes
My eyes have learned to ignore these, but they aren't going anywhere
I noticed the white motion blur especially when I move the mouse or scroll the page, it was very bad and was giving me headache at that point I decided to return it as that is the least I expect from a monitor to do
Colors are true, picture is crystal clear, no motion blurring, very wide view angle, and it doesn't radiate heat even after being on 24x7.
Not to mention feel a bit more premium as well, However the Asus montior is better look and has less motion blur
n’t say how it would work for that,
