I drive this monitor with an Asus ROG gaming laptop and I use the speakers on the laptop so that I can actually hear _something_, and yes, I found the volume settings in the menu for this monitor and turned it to "100".I would recommend it if you have other speakers, but the claim in the item description;"Stereo 2W speakers provide spacious sound while eliminating the need for external speakers"Is blatantly untrue, so untrue I would call it a scam

The only downfall I have with this monitor is that the sound, like many other customers have been complaining about is subpar

It sounds like the sound coming from it is very far away at the highest level

The product listing is very misleading because it says the speakers provide stereo spacious sound - TOTALLY NOT TRUE!

ASUS has made an IPS high-quality, great priced, full-featured work monitor

My work laptop is a PC and my personal laptop is a MacBook Pro... this monitor works wonderful with both

This monitor works well with MacBook Pro 2016 (thunderblot-3)

I use it as my main monitor with my laptop, and its the perfect size and it doesnt hurt my eyes like my last one.

lovely vibrant screen and the bluelight filter settings work well

I get migraines and my eyes are very sensitive to bright blue screens as a result

Problem:1, screen will flip black out randomly and need a few seconds to recover2, the built-in speaker does not generate soundObviously, quality control is missing here.

they told me that the monitor was probably defective, I was very pissed at Amazon for sending me a defective product I wanted to love the monitor.

It does not bother my eyes after long periods of viewing like my old (Vaio) laptop computer did

I really love the blue light filter that has noticeably reduced eye strain and headaches when staring at the computer for long hours.

By the end of the first couple hours of use, my eyes were getting blurry and hurt so much that I had to stop looking at it

This is a very vibrant monitor, but the speakers are complete crap even at max volume you can barely hear your media

The speaker is a bonus for HD monitor at this price range.
