This is really a awesome buy I now have more space for other DVD's
I feel like this would be a better buy if it were seven to ten bucks but at fifteen bucks I feel I paid too much for it
To bad the company discontinued making this CD/DVD rack, if you find one worth buying.
I received the DVD rack yesterday, all I can say is this is the worst product I have bought from this site, the rack is cheaply made and all of the dvd's don't hold as well.
Minimalistic shelves only support DVDs if you're careful to shelve each one properly-
, they work; they keep half shelves of games from being slanted over and the dividers don't do that 'slowly slide under the weight of the games so they end up slanting anyway
the top two shelves broke into several pieces on the sides
I am just going to get a bookcase with solid shelves and be done with it.
Fit perfectly in the space I had open, cleared off a couple shelves and looks great
I had to put some slightly oversized DVDs on the top shelf and it toppled over.
It's a cheap, plastic shelf that goes together quite crappily and looks dorm room-y
Sometimes putting them on the shelf is annyoing, because the edge of the dvd may fall between the opening on each level (each "shelf" is comprised of a piece of plastic, a gap and a metal rod).It was only $20 dollars or so, but it feels like something that should have cost $8 or $10 as I know you can find some made of particle board for about $30 that are much sturdier
The shelf is a little flimsy, but even when I gently shake it none of the cases fall out, nor does the shelf fall over.
Good shelf holds on my movies DVDs and Blu-rays really well
Assembly was easy enough, after you get the first two shelves together, its a seamless assembly
Easy assembly , didn't have to mount to wall ,sturdy enough to stand on its own ...
The only reason I'm not returning it is because assembly was such a monumental pain in my butt, I just can't bring myself to make all that work have been for nothing
Assembly is somewhat tedious, and you have to look way down the web page to see that there is "easy assembly with enclosed tool".

Piece of cheap materials except the screws and the metal front holders.
The materials it is made of are a bit flimsy, but for the price it's alright, and it has a nice almost sleek look.
Not nearly as durable as I had hoped (hollow aluminum rods and plastic crossbeam siding), and too much trouble to put together to be worthwhile compared to the myriad alternatives.
I like the concept however the actual product could use some upgrading, maybe a stronger material, a heavier plastic.
