I may try changing out the capsule from a old SM-57 because I like the goose neck and physical build, just disgusted with the performance

Solid build quality and good sound reproduction that you would expect from more expensive microphones
Microphone picks up electrical noise (50 Hz) where as other Dynamic microphones in same spot do not pick up same noise
This is a good gooseneck, dyamic microphone that is an ideal replacement for lost or damaged factory mics for Novation Mini/Ultra Nova synthesizers.
