Decent audio quality for the price, but broke shortly after usage, nothing was done that could be considered strenuous, the audio quality just started to degrade and the mic stopped working
Absolutely ridiculous the quality you get out of this thing with the price point
It was a great mic with great sound quality before that.
You can buy a lot of mics for around this price but they would all be horrible quality
I teach online and the sound quality is very impressive
Although, I suspect any decent preamp used properly with the AT2020would sound pretty darn good
I was looking for a good Mic in my budget and this one gives very good sound for my vocals.
I use a 5ch mixer that was easy to get and the sound into my computer is great
The thing to remember with preamps is totry to get close to the *loudest possible clean sound*coming out of the preamp and generatea BIG signal going IN to the recording device, which shouldhave its input gain quite LOW (maybe like "2" or even "1").Watch your clipping/overload levels, listen for any audible noise or distortion in the recording, and make adjustments to cut those sound flaws, if they are present
It's sound is clear and bright but vibrations from the floor and mic stand caused an output overload
I use this mic for recording acoustic instruments as well as vocals
I owned this mic for a few years and I just read a review about it not having a "full sound spectrum" first off when suing this mic, your vocals will be very bassy
This mic is super clear, with crystal clear vocals, and a good amount of bass
Very clear vocals, doesn't pick up any background noise, computer fans or anything
Crystal clear vocals from the hip hop artists I work with
Nothing wrong with either of the USB mics (a Blue Snowball and a Blue Yeti), in fact I highly recommend the Blue Yeti if you want great sound at a reasonable price with minimal fuss.
The price of this Mic is Ridiculous.
the price is surprisingly low for its quality and I would definitely recommend for beginners & intermediate level musicians
Have several other microphones and this one really is nice at a cheap price
There are higher priced and higher quality microphones available but the level of quality for the price point of this microphone makes sense for my standards/budget.
This microphone is great for recording videos and commentaries, has amazing bass recording and just in all amazing recording for the price.
so it produces a great isolated vocal recording
Small gain: Since I use it mainly for instrumental recording, the gain is a bit low for me.
Not too much bass, but still vibrant mids and highs without drowning anything out too much makes recording into my DAW (Record 1.5) easier to manage and EQ.
It is little hard for beginners to use the microphone well to get good sound recording quality.
I don't know of any truly-decent large-diaphragm condensers withthe full 1" diaphragm size for under [...
Construction is good, but this is the worst condenser microphone I've ever worked with sound-wise
This microphone is my first Condenser mic and its perfect for everything that I needed to do with super clear quality
I have been really surprised at the quality of these inexpensive condenser mics.
I have two good dynamic microphones for live shows and speech, but I was looking for the warm, deep sound you can only get with a good condenser microphone
