Audio-Technica AT2020 Cardioid Condenser Studio XLR Microphone, White

    • I don't know of any truly-decent large-diaphragm condensers withthe full 1" diaphragm size for under [...
    • this is a great little condenser mike for the price
    • This is on par with Gauge as an affordable condenser
    • So yes, this is a great microphone, especially when comparing it against my cheaper 25 dollar condenser mic, but their shady practice of widening the base/handle of the microphone as an attempt to goad me into buying their shock mount kept me from giving it that elusive fifth star.
    • Only gave 4 stars because this is still only a $100 entry level Mic, and there are even better yet still affordable condenser mics in the $150-200 range (AT3035, AT4040 etc)
    • Construction is good, but this is the worst condenser microphone I've ever worked with sound-wise
    • For a inexpensive condenser, it captures low frequencies very well.
    • I figured this would be a substantial step up from the cheap $15 condenser mics you can find all over amazon, but I'm not sold on the quality being that much higher
    • Best budget condenser mic ever
    • Perhaps it is my luck, but this condenser is very durable and sounds excellent for what one pays for.
    • Construction is good, but this is the worst condenser microphone I've ever worked with sound-wise
    • This microphone is my first Condenser mic and its perfect for everything that I needed to do with super clear quality
    • I have been really surprised at the quality of these inexpensive condenser mics.
    • It's an awesome Condenser Mic for the price
    • Very nice condenser
    • I have two good dynamic microphones for live shows and speech, but I was looking for the warm, deep sound you can only get with a good condenser microphone
    • The AT2020 Condenser Mic works and sounds great
