One of the most transparent recording microphones for the price point!

I have two good dynamic microphones for live shows and speech, but I was looking for the warm, deep sound you can only get with a good condenser microphone

For the price, it's probably the best microphone you're going to find.

This microphone was too vibration sensitive for a live stage

It does not matter what the size is, what matters most is what the microphone sounds like and this little jewel sounds huge and expensive

This is a great microphone, but I returned it in favor of a USB model

(On a side note, my opinion of the best microphone under a $500 budget is the Avantone CV-12.

If you're looking for a nice one person recording session microphone then it will serve the purpose however know that this microphone doesn't have a cardioid pattern and thereby picks up every extra noise in the background unless you have it surrounded in sound foam (Which I would always suggest having in any kind of recording environment)

So yes, this is a great microphone, especially when comparing it against my cheaper 25 dollar condenser mic, but their shady practice of widening the base/handle of the microphone as an attempt to goad me into buying their shock mount kept me from giving it that elusive fifth star.
