It is a very good mic for people starting out in music or just using it for podcasts, but there are a bunch of better mics near this price

I think everyone here agrees there are some great mics if you go up to the $200-400 range.

Sure, there are better mics, it just takes more money.

Only gave 4 stars because this is still only a $100 entry level Mic, and there are even better yet still affordable condenser mics in the $150-200 range (AT3035, AT4040 etc)

Also did not come with a plastic latching hard case, like most mics at this price range do

I have quite a number of more expensive mics in my studio, but I find most folks tend to choose this at2020 for their voice over most the other mics
