You want something that's reasonably high quality but also has a low enough price

Whether you buy it new (about $120, if even) or used (about $70), those are still great prices for such a good sounding mic

There are higher priced and higher quality microphones available but the level of quality for the price point of this microphone makes sense for my standards/budget.

Nothing wrong with either of the USB mics (a Blue Snowball and a Blue Yeti), in fact I highly recommend the Blue Yeti if you want great sound at a reasonable price with minimal fuss.

Beautifully clear, with lots of depth and expression at an unbelievable bargain price (big discount on top of an already low MSRP)

AT2020 is a decent mic for a decent price.

Pair it up with a similarly-priced interface, like the Scarlett Solo, and you're good to go.
