I think Starmate Five alacart is good receiver, other than very limited FM MODULATER so plug in Cassette adaptor recomended, or direct.

upgrade from my xact this is a fantastic little receiver

The radio with a big screen/LCD type look is a waste of money if you live up north where the cold weather can cause the screen to freeze.

While I have some problems with their other components I love their radios

Considering the price, and the features it has, this is still, in my opinion, the best radio that is out there

The company must provide a less expensive radio for the a la carte service to comply with the merger agreement requirements.
