You clip it to your AC vent which means if you have the heater on, you're not getting heat from that vent and now your phone is going to be *really* hot!

When I was putting the mount on the vent, I thought it would slide right on there, but because the arms are so stiff, I forced it on the vent and found that the metal inside the gray prongs cut through the outer gray rubber material and scratched the crap out of the plastic on my AC vent

Much simpler than other a/c vent mounts that clamp or grab onto the phone--you just hold the phone up to the magnet and it sticks.

Obviously, placement of the phone holder depends on the a/c vent position of your car model

Minor drawback - blocks the a/c from the whole vent - but it keeps the phone cool in the summer even when navigating or other high-use scenarios.
