I find that due to its compact size it has trouble allowing the phone to clear surrounding dash plastic on most cars...which makes it so you can't angle your phone towards you at all.

A/C vent on my 2010 Prius

Much simpler than other a/c vent mounts that clamp or grab onto the phone--you just hold the phone up to the magnet and it sticks.

Obviously, placement of the phone holder depends on the a/c vent position of your car model

Minor drawback - blocks the a/c from the whole vent - but it keeps the phone cool in the summer even when navigating or other high-use scenarios.
