AUKEY Car Phone Mount Air Vent Magnetic Cell Phone Holder Compatible with iPhone X/8/8 Plus/7/7 Plus/6s Plus, Samsung Galaxy, LG, Nexus and More

    • I find that due to its compact size it has trouble allowing the phone to clear surrounding dash plastic on most cars...which makes it so you can't angle your phone towards you at all.
    • I have an LG G4 with a thin, harder plastic case (an Incipio, which you'll see I clearly need judging by all of the damage it has taken), and
    • Recently tried it with a hard plastic case and it seems to be working as well.
    • The hold is strong with a Samsung Note II using a hard plastic case.
    • My hard plastic case was too thick for the magnetism to attract well
    • I have a Droid Maxx with hard plastic case and used the metal insert
    • Oh, and the rubber on the prongs is coming off so will scratch the plastic now
    • I'm not sure if it's because of the phone's size (admittedly big), the case's thickness, the hard plastic, the curve of the back of the phone and case, or what - but the magnet did not hold at all to either plate when inserted in the back of the case
    • This wasn't highly successful with the Spigen Slim Armor, as it forced the stiff plastic portion of the case to not lay flat
    • Now my vent plastic has some scars.
    • Maybe I am using it incorrectly but the smaller magnet can barely hold up an S4 with a cheap plastic light weight case
    • The fingers need to be made of a strong plastic like Delrin, and with smooth rounded edges.
    • I have had different types of phone holders, the suction cup...which sucks as it falls off always
    • I've had the mount now for probably 5 months and it is still as strong as when I first bought it
    • I've even tried driving slow as to not make it fall, but nothing helped.
    • Works as you'd expect.
    • It works exactly as it should, and the magnet works through my leather iPhone 6 case.
    • It'll work itself out a little as you put the phone on and off the magnet
    • The mount held an iPhone 6 in a Speck Candyshell Grip case as well as in a New Trent LV6 case while going over potholes, curbs and other bumps with minimal problems and with no problems if you are very particular about placing the phone's 'sweet spot' on the mount for maximum magnetic pull.
    • Strong enough to hold it in place, but no too strong as to make it difficult to remove
    • i did, however, deduct a star as the over all device did not work as
    • If you have a thick case it may not be able to hold your phone up because the magnetic element weakens as it is further apart
    • Works exactly as I expected it to
    • Works exactly as it's supposed to
    • You don't have to struggle as with regular car phone holders
    • Works pretty good on my 2011 Nissan Pathfinder with vertical vents, I have a Nexus 6 phone that is pretty big and heavy, it's vibrates and shakes just a
    • I have bought these for all of my phones, as well as my S/O's phones
    • Got these for the kids and they love them i the car.
    • A/C vent on my 2010 Prius
    • Much simpler than other a/c vent mounts that clamp or grab onto the phone--you just hold the phone up to the magnet and it sticks.
    • Obviously, placement of the phone holder depends on the a/c vent position of your car model
    • Minor drawback - blocks the a/c from the whole vent - but it keeps the phone cool in the summer even when navigating or other high-use scenarios.
