Of the four I ordered, one arrived in horrible condition -- as others have noted -- damaged clear view cover, warped edge and scuff marks
I've previously bought Avery Durable View Binders with EZD rings, and the previous one opened and closed very easily with one finger pressing the lock at the bottom
Unfortunately, the listing for the 1 pack white 3” durable view binder is not for a one-touch, though it uses the same photo as the one advertised in the 6 pack
UPDATE NOV 2014:: If you're looking for an Avery Durable View Binder, buy this one.
I have used many "Avery Durable View Binders" in the past with no issue (from other retailers), but the items coming from this seller are NOT new
I bought 3 of these binders to hold paperback versions of my college course books and one book fit perfectly with this binder seems like they can hold like 900+ pages well and happy with this binder for heavy amount of pages, it is slightly bulky but it works great
It is sturdy and will fit my needs, but I wish that the pages would turn smoother.
very sturdy and rings stay closed and don't snag the pages
The pages don’t move well enough up the slant to make it past where the rings meet

Thank you for making this great quality item so affordable!
They were also about the same price as I saw at Target and Walmart for a seemingly better quality product.
They do not look super high quality - they are more in the nice mid-range nobody notices
Good quality... will last all year long (and maybe beyond).
The quality is nice, not too flimsy, and the price is unbeatable (I know because I checked the price of binders everywhere before purchasing!)Read more
The clear view front cover is handy as well because it allows me to create a cover sheet for our binders (you can also download a template to use to create a spine label as well which is super-helpful to identify which binder you need from the shelf)
He can insert pictures or drawings into the clear cover to make it easy to know which one is his in the classroom, and able to show off to all his friends.
Once you print out over 300 pages and use a D-ring binder, you'll never want to go back to those clumsy O-rings again.
nice cover with ability to slip identifying cover information behind the plastic.
Easily labeled, has pockets in the clear covering on front and back also

Looking more carefully at the listing, the 6 pack of white 3” durable binders are listed as one-touch, and the 1 pack black 3” durable is also one-touch
love the one touch and the note book was well made.

However, the fact that this binder is 4 inches and a 'D' Ring is just problematic in general.
Beware, if you're looking specifically for gap-free rings, these binders do not have them - even though the photo shows it and the description says it.
This is a nice sized binder BUT the top ring does not shut securely
Most obvious is the claim that this binder's rings are "gap free".
This is a good sturdy three ring binder, as it should be for $9.99, however, the product says "one touch" but is NOT
The rings are too thick for multipurpose copy paper punched with a standard swingline 9/32 inch 3 hole punch
However, rings were thicker than I expected - makes flipping through a little more difficult as they barely scrunch through the hole punch.
It has the pockets on the inside too if you want to secure something but don't have immediate use of a three hole punch.
Once you print out over 300 pages and use a D-ring binder, you'll never want to go back to those clumsy O-rings again.
When using standard 8.5X11" paper inside Avery plastic sheet protectors, the binder's covers are 1/2" too short - the long edges of the sheets stick out 1/2" because the sheet protectors add 1/2" where the 3 hole punches are located.
